Gear

  • Custom-made 6 String Bass

    Made by Jason Hatkin 1999.
Mahogany body, birdseye maple neck with 24 frets, EMG pickups, and an 18v power supply.

  • 2006 American Fender Jazz Deluxe

Great tone for slapping and hard plucking, probably my favorite bass in terms of tone.

  • 2007 Music Man Stingray

Very funky sounding bass, great build quality, awesome for tapping and slapping.

  • 2009 American Fender Standard P-Bass

Classic rock, deep slap, bass tone. A must-have bass, the P-bass is the standard in tone and playability. This is the easiest of my bass guitars to play.

  • Hartke Amp HA7000

Hartke Amp HA7000, bi amp 350+350watts
Hartke Hydrive 4x10 and 1X15 cabinets

  • Basses Wanted:

    • Lefty 6-string Warwick
    • Lefty Rickenbacker, red finish
    • Lefty Höfner Beatle bass

I am not endorsed by Hartke in any way but after years of playing through various amps and cabs (Ampegs, SWR’s, Traynor, Yorkville, etc.) it is my opinion that Hartke has a unique, punchy tone that outperforms the competition. The new Hydrive cabs deliver amazing tone in an extremely lightweight design. I haven’t tried any of Hartke’s newer amps but I love my HA7000’s sick tone, huge power and bi-amp feature that lets me run the lows to my single 15, and mids and highs to my 4×10.
